"Pocket Full of Soul" is a documentary movie based on the influence harmonicas had in blues history. Dave found out the producers of the movie were holding a contest for writing a title song, so he wrote one and sent it to them. He didn't win the contest, but his version of "Pocket Full of Soul" will be featured on the CD when it is released. Dave was contacted about playing at the "Pocket Full of Soul" movie premiere held in Houston, TX. A few musicians from the film performed and Dave Nevling and the Blues Kats played "Pocket Full of Soul" and one of Dave's original songs. All the performers and attendees previewed 45 minutes of the documentary.
